Need a new sign to take to those Saturday rallies? Or is the old one starting to look a little bit faded and ragged around the edges?! No worries! We can help you out by doing a bit of repair and sign creation at our Sign Making Workshops. Feel free to bring any art supplies or pictures you want, but we have plenty here - you really don't need to bring a thing but your smile. Now offered conveniently with day and night time sessions. Come to one or both! The choice is yours.

MEETING:
There's a new group forming on the North Shore, practicing Creative Resistance. In times such as these, we often find ourselves feeling like there's nothing we can do; we can feel angry, frustrated, helpless, hopeless, isolated.
Creative Resistance, or creating art together in some form, brings us and ties us together as a community. It gives us a project, a purpose to work for, together, that can make a statement and make a difference. If you are willing, there is a place for you in this movement. It is in this way that we can rally together, come together, as community, and work towards justice & a Democratic America. Come to the BitBar for this first meeting to strategize, socialize and specify our plans going forward. We hope to create a plan for a community mural project and need ideas and input - this means you! We invite you and welcome you to be a part of our actions.
PEACE BUNTING WORKSHOP:
Customize part of our Peace Garland, aka Peace
Bunting. Peace Buntings have become more and
more popular as a way of messaging in progressive
movements across the country. You are welcome to
leave a note of peace, solidarity, or an uplifting
message of hope on the bunting, or an image of your
choosing. Fabric, markers, watercolor pencils and
paints will be provided. Let’s use that freedom of
speech why we still have it.
