Customize part of our Peace Garland, aka Peace Bunting. Peace Buntings have become more and more popular as a way of messaging in progressive movements across the country. You are welcome to leave a note of peace, solidarity, or an uplifting message of hope on the bunting, or any image of your choosing. Fabric, markers, watercolor pencils and paints will be provided. Let’s use that freedom of speech while we still have it.

noon - 1:30pm, Riley Plaza
The fight to protect voting rights never ends, and right now, we’re witnessing a Jim-Crow-era effort from politicians and their billionaire friends to restrict our freedoms, silence our voices, and consolidate power. But in America, we choose our leaders. We will decide our future. The same spirit that fueled Selma, Montgomery, and the March on Washington lives on in our unified action.
Six years after the passing of Congressman Lewis, we're organizing an event in our community to carry the torch, continue the legacy of John Lewis, and pass it forward to future generations. Join us!
Join us at our special weekly Saturday rally as we celebrate the work of John Lewis and advocate for voting rights. Remember your signs - or use one of ours! A weekend of other actions are planned as outlined below:
Teach: (Friday, July 17)
Reach: (Saturday, July 18)
Preach: (Sunday, July 19)
For further information on weekend events in our area click here . Good Trouble Lives On is a non-partisan weekend of action. We require that participants commit to not advocate for, endorse, or oppose any political candidate or ballot initiative.
There are many ways to get involved and support our cause. You can make a donation, become a volunteer, or even organize a fundraising event in your community. Whatever you choose, know that your contribution will make a difference in the lives of those in need.
