Ever wake up in the morning and find out we’re at war with Iran? Or that Trump has posted a meme depicting himself as Jesus? Or perhaps you feel you’re living in the land you read about in A Handmaidens Tale? Or are the pigs in the zoo down the street starting to dialogue like Chapter 5 of the novel 1984?

st How do we process the day to day authoritarian agenda gracing our very own screens? Here's your chance to let some light shine into an increasingly fictional world. Touch base with others in our area, see how things are on their side of Salem and beyond. My guess is we have a lot in common. This is a great chance to voice your concerns, your anger, sorrow, frustration, whatever. You get the idea. We want to hear what you have to say. You'll not only be among like minded people, you'll be among others in our area, experiencing the same thing. This is not a business or planning session, just a chance to take a moment, and swap what's on your mind. You can even pop in for a moment or two - or more. Just click here to enter Zoom at 8:00 , and use the Meeting Code above. Hope we see you there!

Our speakers ranged from the likes of community activists from LUCE, Swing Left, & Solidarity for Tsuru, to city council members reading the newly passed Resolution to Honor the Legacy of Leslie's Retreat and the Ongoing Commitment of the City of Salem to Liberty and justice for All. Check out photos by clicking the link below - maybe you'll see a familiar face or two!
